Dear Parents or Guardians of College Bound Students;

In an attempt to give our students some exposure to both national college admission examinations an ACT mock test will be administered.  The ACT mock test is designed to give the students who plan on taking the April or June official ACT some exposure to the test.  It also will give the students who have no knowledge of the ACT a glimpse of what the test has to offer.  The mock test is scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. at Wilde Lake High School.  The fee for the mock test will be $10 (cash only).  The test is open to the first 100 students who register.

To register go to the following link:
You will receive an email to confirm your registration.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Rose by email: Registration will close on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Wilde Lake High School in conjunction with Princeton Review (SAT/ACT PREP source) has established the ACT mock test in an effort to prepare students for the ACT.  The ACT is a national college admission examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.  The ACT Plus Writing includes the four subject area tests and a 30-minute Writing Test.  ACT results are accepted by virtually all U.S. Colleges and Universities. According to ACT, Inc the ACT is required and accepted by more four- year colleges then any other admission examination.

The ACT mock test will allow students the opportunity to see their strengths and weaknesses.  Each student will receive a written break down of their score for each section.  We recommend that students who are interested in taking the ACT as opposed to the new Design SAT or interested in seeing the difference in test questions participate in the ACT mock test.  A representative from Princeton Review will give a presentation and provide each student with a written analysis.  If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me (Mr. Eugene Rose) by email:

On the day of the test, students should report to Main Street (Front lobby @ Wilde Lake High) by 7:30am for registration.  All students should bring two #2 pencils, a calculator, and a snack.
