I know that all of you are frustrated and upset over the loss of this Spring Season. The staff and I share those same emotions. This is acceptable given the situation. The staff and I want to especially acknowledge our seniors. We all had high expectations for this season.Fri, 04/24/2020 - 2:40pm
This week we were invited to participate in the virtual Watershed Summit and see the amazing things our students are working on. Typically, students attend the Watershed Summit as part of their science class. This year, Ava Stamatakis and Ashna Pandya worked on their presentation before school let out and then put in the time this week to prepare for the virtual summit. Elizabeth Bai is the GHS Plastics Student Force rep and she came to the summit to serve as a watershed advocate. We have bright, hard-working kids at GHS and it's nice to let them showcase their abilities at events like this. Way to go Gladiators!Fri, 04/24/2020 - 12:40pm
We love and miss you seniors! Thinking of you during this difficult time! Stay positive class of 2020! We will get through this together! Thank you to the RHHS PTSA for the wonderful sign!Fri, 04/24/2020 - 11:46am
Help us show our GHS staff how much we appreciate them! This 2019-2020 school year has presented them with quite a challenge-- but they jumped right in to do what is best for you, our students. With little advance notice, our teachers took on the challenge of learning new technology and tools to adapt their curriculum and make it accessible to their students in the new distance learning format. They have taken their teaching jobs to a whole new level by planning content to help their students succeed even when they are apart. This is something that has never been done before, but our teachers stepped right up to face the challenge. Our teachers care so deeply about each and every student in their classrooms, and they miss seeing their smiling faces at school. Let's show them how much we love and appreciate everything they have done to support the GHS community!Fri, 04/24/2020 - 11:41am
To help honor Earth Day, our HoCoCast team of students from Glenelg HS, Marriotts Ridge HS, and Wilde Lake HS have been hard at work (while socially distancing) to create a new podcast episode just in time for Earth Day on April 22, 2020.Fri, 04/24/2020 - 11:30am
