We hope that you are having a restful summer. We wanted to share with you new news and upcoming events that are happening here at Glenelg High School.

Glenelg now has a Buzz-In System! This will be operational in starting in August. We will be using the visitor protocol listed below for ALL Glenelg visitors.

Please be mindful that you will need to wait until you are buzzed in before you can enter the building. This will help us monitor all visitors who are on school grounds. All other doors around the building will remain locked during the school day and ALL visitors must enter through the front door in and sign in with the front office staff. Please help us by being patient as we learn this new system. Thank you for helping to make our schools safer.

• The front door is the ONLY entrance point for all visitors.
• We ask that you buzz the front office and look at the camera.
• The office staff will ask you how they can help you and your purpose for visiting.
• All visitors will then be buzzed into the building and will go directly to the Front Office with their identification.
• Each visitor will have their ID checked and will need to sign in on LobbyGuard. 
• A visitor’s sticker will be given to all permitted visitors. 
• Any visitor in our building without a sticker will be escorted directly back to the office by a staff member.
