Class of 2025 Senior Banner

Senior Banners are a great way to show pride in your senior. Banners will be hung in the school starting around May 1. They will be white vinyl with red and black print with grommets for hanging. Seniors can pick up their banners after the farewell ceremony or they will be included in the student’s senior packet. Each banner is $25 and orders are due by April 7.

Discretionary Absences

Absences related to college visits, family or sports travel, interviews with prospective employers, civic engagement opportunities, etc. fall under the Discretionary Absence category for an excused absence and are limited to 3 days per school year. To request approval for a Discretionary absence day, please complete the request form and email to: GHSAbsence@hcpss.org.

Flu Shot Clinic, October 24, 2024

Each year, the Howard County Public School System partners with the Maryland Partnership for Prevention to bring flu immunizations into our schools for students. This year, they will also be offering the latest Covid vaccine if it is available at the time of the clinics. The clinic at Glenelg High School will be held on October 24, 2024, during school hours.
