Dear Glenelg Families, I am delighted to welcome you to the 2019/2020 academic year at Glenelg High School! I trust that your summer holiday was good, filled with memorable experiences and many moments where you got to spend time with your loved ones. Here at Glenelg, we pride ourselves as our dedicated and hardworking staff are committed to meeting the specific needs of each student to help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We hope to partner with you in this endeavor by encouraging our students to be the best versions of themselves every day.
All juniors and seniors who wish to park on school grounds must attend a Safe Driving Presentation prior to receiving a parking permit. Students must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian for the duration of the presentation. Once the presentation has started, late students & parents will not be admitted - No exceptions. Parent/guardian must be with the student during the entire presentation. Dates of GHS meetings are on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 6:00 pm and on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 6:00 pm. New Student Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at 8:45 am. This is for 9th-grade students and students new to Glenelg High School. Parents and students are both welcome to attend. Please see the flyer for more information. Please call 410.313.5528, for more questions.
Back to School Night for Parents, Thursday, August 29, 2019, at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium. Parents should bring a copy of your child's schedule for you to follow for the evening (schedules can be found on your canvas page after August 14, 2019). Parking is limited, please be mindful when parking on school property for this event.
