Leadership U provides an opportunity for high school juniors in the county to learn about how Howard County business and government work together to improve our community. Part of the program is to develop and execute a service project to help the community. The Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program, open to all H.S. students and back by popular demand, teaches life skills in communication, leadership, interpersonal skills, public speaking, stress management, and self-confidence. This is a world renowned program offered at St. Andrews Church off of Rt 97 in Glenwood (as River Hill High School is not available with schools closed).
