Improving Science Grades

Wondering how to improve your student's Science grade?   Below are some suggestions for all science students and in particular for students studying chemistry:

  • Go over notes and handouts daily.
  • Review problems, solutions, and labs
  • After class discussion/labs, make notes of topics that are NOT clear and bring questions to the next class session.
  • Ask lots of questions in class. Remember, if you have a question, at least 3 other people in class have the same question.
  • Go over missed questions/problems after quiz/test.
  • Make an appointment with your teacher to go over tests in more detail.
  • Check Canvas daily for updates and information.
  • See your science teacher during Glad time.
  • Coordinate with your teacher to see them during lunch time.
