Welcome Back Students, Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers –

We hope that you had an amazing and restful summer.  Tomorrow, August 27th, 2019, both students and parents will have access to student schedules through HCPSS connect.  These schedules will include the course name, period, teacher and room number.  We will also hand out hard copies during New Student Orientation (August 29, 2019, from 8:45 am – 11:00 am) and Back to School Night (August 29, 2019, from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm).  We look forward to seeing you at these events.

Below is some additional information to help make the transition back to school more fluid.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: On Tuesday, September 3rd, all students will report directly to their 1st period class where they will receive a final copy of their schedule. After school begins, there will be no schedule changes until September 17th.  Any changes made to student schedules after the first day of school will require approval from an administrator. Schedules will not be adjusted based on teacher or period preference.

ARL STUDENTS: You will attend ARL on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 3rd.   Morning ARL students report directly to the ARL bus when you arrive at school.  The bus will leave promptly at 7:25 am. Upon returning from ARL, you will proceed to the Cafeteria to pick up your final schedule and first day materials.

SENIORS & JUNIORS ONLY:  If you are planning to drive and park on school property, you must attend a "Safe Driving Presentation" with a parent/guardian each school year.  The first two dates are Tuesday, August 27th and Tuesday, September 3rd at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium.  Additional dates will be sent out via the school newsletter.

FAMILY FILE: Please update your Family File through your HCPSS Connect account (www.hcpss.org/connect).  All Family Files need to be submitted in the system, even if there are no changes to the information, before the first day of school, September 3rd.

We look forward to seeing you at Back to School Night – Thursday, August 29th, 2019, at 6:30 pm.
