Parents/Guardians,
We appreciate your students letting teachers know when they will be absent from their classes. Unfortunately, we cannot accept an email from a student excusing their absence from classes.
To make an absence legal, we need an email verification from the parent/guardian if your student is absent from a class or for the entire school day. Please email GHSAbsence@hcpss.org. We will record your student's absence to help teachers know who needs to make up any missed assignments. Please email your student's first and last name, grade, and reason your student is absent. Only HCPSS approved reasons will be approved per the HCPSS Policy 9010, Attendance.
