January PSAT Participation Information
On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Glenelg High School will offer the PSAT to 11th-grade students ONLY.
The primary purpose of this administration is to allow students to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program. HCPSS does not require participation, and students can be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program without a PSAT score. January 26, 2021, PSAT Details
- The exam starts at 8:30 AM and ends around 12:30 PM (arrival and dismissal details will be sent in January).
- Transportation will not be provided.
- Students will test in small groups of 10 or fewer.
- Classroom desks will be arranged to provide 6ft of clearance between students at all times.
- Students and staff will wear face coverings at all times.
- Students will miss their synchronous classes during the PSAT. Absences will be marked as excused.
- There is no exam cost for HCPSS students.
- The College Board will send scores in mid-to late-March
- Cancellation is possible due to county-level COVID metrics or school -level COVID cases.
