Glenelg High School presents Orientation for New Students

New Student Orientation and Student Schedule Walk-Through

We are so excited for this coming school year. To make the transition easier for those who have never set foot into the building, we are offering two exciting events on August 26, 2021.

The New Student Orientation  - 8:50 am - 11:00 am

This orientation is geared towards any student who did not attend Glenelg High School last year. The majority of these students will be 9th graders and will get an opportunity to walk their schedules and familiarize themselves with the halls of Glenelg High School. Walk-Through for 10th - 12th Grade Students - 9:55am - 11:00am

• This event will take place between 9:55 am and 11:00 am. Students in 10th-12th grade will get an opportunity to walk their schedules and familiarize themselves with the halls of Glenelg High School. This event is geared for students who may have attended GHS last year, but never stepped foot inside the building; however, all students are welcome.  Students, bring your schedules.

Parent Drop Off/Pick Up

These are student-only events. Parents, please drop your students off at the auditorium entrance. There will be staff directing you to the student drop-off zones. You will pick up your students at 11:00 am in the baseball parking lot located to the left of the building.  There will be signs directing you to these zones for student pick up. As students are invited to get Kona Ice at 11:00, you may need to park in the lot and wait for your student to finish in the Kona Ice line.
