Intergenerational internship project for July of 2019 (Students for Service). It is designed to introduce youth, grades 10 through 12, to the helping services. They can earn up to 32 community service hours while working in an office environment or doing recreational activities. The deadline has been extended to May 31, 2018. Participating students will be assigned to a DCRS site for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week, and work for 2 weeks (8 Days Total). The Glenelg FIRST Robotics Team has recently qualified for the Chesapeake District Championship which includes Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The District Championship is the top sixty teams out of 129. They are currently ranked 46th place.
