The Glenelg FIRST Robotics Team has recently qualified for the Chesapeake District Championship which includes Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The District Championship is the top sixty teams out of 129. They are currently ranked 46th place. The Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program, open to all H.S. students (rising 9th to 12th grade), teaches life skills in communication, interpersonal skills, public speaking, stress management, and self-confidence.
