Glenelg High School is thrilled to announce some very exciting events that we will be provided to the students on September 9, 2019!  Ninth grade students will be participating in an off-campus experience; One Glenelg Day. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will participate in Gladiator’s Skills for Success Day.  Below you will find a workshop overview for each respective grade.  

Some highlights include a one-time-only presentation for seniors on the steps they need to complete college applications, request transcripts and have recommendation letters sent. Seniors will receive their materials to make their college application requests during this workshop. Juniors will have opportunities to learn about careers, college and military opportunities.  A special workshop is being held with limited space for students wanting to learn about the untaught safety issues for changing a car tire, jump-starting a car, etc. Sophomores will have the opportunity to explore careers and get additional information on the many Career Academy’s offered within HCPSS.  

Finally, GHS has seen a large spike in stress over the past few years.  Workshops will be held for all grade levels to learn how to successfully navigate the stressful demands we all have in life.  A full breakdown by grade is also below!
