We want to welcome you to the 20-21 Virtual Orientation. This is not how we envisioned first connecting with you, but we are going to make the best out of our new virtual world! We look forward to getting to know you personally throughout the school year.
We understand coming into the building after 9th grade can be a hard transition. We want you to know that ALL 120 plus staff members are excited to meet you and are here to support you.
We cannot wait to meet you and get to know you. Over the summer, we will be reaching out to connect with you through some additional Google Meet opportunities. Interested in playing Sports in the Fall?
A message from Dan Sageman, the athletic director: I wanted to reach out to you as Athletic Director of Glenelg High School to get an idea of how many incoming fall athletes we may have. Please fill out the google form using your HCPSS account if you are interested in playing a fall sport this year. Using the information, we will connect you with the coach of your sport. Our plan is to connect via google meets or email so that we may discuss important information before fall tryouts.

Student Only Live Question and Answer Session
We will be having a short interactive Google Meet for students beginning at 11:00 am after you have had a chance to view the video links above. We want to give you a chance to meet your counselor and administrator and to ask any questions you may have before we go into the summer. We also want to talk to you about some summer opportunities to get together in order to get to know more people before we enter the building. The purpose of this session is to connect with our new students. Parents, we will have other opportunities for you, and we look forward to working with you throughout your students’ time at GHS.
