Congratulations to Maxwell Lu, a 12th-grade violinist in the GHS orchestra, who won an international composition prize and will be traveling later this month to Vienna, Austria to receive his award. As part of the prize, he will have his piece performed and recorded by a professional orchestra. Max has already written several pieces for piano and string quartet, but this is his first piece for symphonic orchestra. Congratulations, Max!
