Beginning in the 2019-20 school year, the AP® Program is introducing new resources and processes designed to help students earn college credit and placement. Here’s what you and your student need to know:
- Students will be asked to register for AP Exams by NOVEMBER 1st, 2019. Registration is a multi-step process. Please go to the GHS website for more information.
- AP Exams will continue to be given in May.
- The exam fee isn’t changing. However, there will be a $20 fee for registrations completed after November 6th and $40 fee for late registration (after Nov. 15). There is also a $40 cancelation or unused/canceled exam fee.
- Glenelg High School will collect fees at the time of registration.
Students will get personalized feedback through new digital tools that provide daily support for every AP classroom. Their teachers will be able to track their performance throughout the year using monthly personal progress checks.
