Calling all Seniors! The PTSA and community sponsored Baccalaureate Ceremony will be held at 6:30 pm on May 22, 2019, at Glenelg High School Auditorium. The Baccalaureate ceremony is a spiritual send-off for seniors of all religions and nationalities. It is a time to hear inspirational messages of hope and vision, watch fellow musical selections, skits, or dramatic readings, and wear the cap and gown. The ceremony, which lasts for about an hour, starts with the seniors walking down the aisle accompanied by the traditional graduation music, Pomp, and Circumstance.Tue, 03/19/2019 - 10:11am

Congratulations to the Glenelg Dance Team who were incredibly successful at Saturday's Mid-Atlantic Pom and Dance Association State championship. They won 1st Place trophies in the Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop categories and a 2nd Place trophy for the Total Package category. Thank you to all of the students and staff that helped make "Pi Day" a success! We donated thousands of pounds canned food, dry goods, pies and more to the DC Central Kitchen. The food that was donated and collected will be used to help those in the DC/Maryland area. We cannot express how proud we are in that everyone who participated. Maggie Yin has won a National Gold in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Competition. This is the largest competition for the arts in the nation with over 340,000 entries, only 800 receive a national gold recognition. Maggie’s artwork will go on display in a gallery in New York City and she will be recognized on stage at Carnegie Hall in June. Congratulations, Maggie!
