Attention Glenelg community!
GHS is having virtual spirit weeks so that everyone can feel a little less isolated from each other and enjoy some school spirit!
Each day will have a different theme with directions on Instagram and Canvas.
Post spirit-day themed posts and stories on Instagram with #ghsspirit2020. For students and teachers without Instagram, feel free to email your photos to: glenelgsga2021@gmail.com with the subject line #ghsspirit2020.
Posts and emailed photos will be compiled and shared periodically on Instagram, Canvas and our website.
The spirit day themes are as follows:
WEEK 1
- Monday, April 20, 2020: Pet Day - post a picture of you and/or your pet!
- Tuesday, April 21, 2020: Tik Tok Tuesday - make and post a tik tok
- Wednesday, April 22, 2020: Earth Day/Outdoors Day - post your favorite outdoor activity, nature, outdoor picts
- Thursday, April 23, 2020: Match Day - coordinate outfits with your friends (twins, triplets, groups!)
- Friday, April 24, 2020: Streaming Day -share what you’re watching on streaming services like Netflix and/or dress up as a character
WEEK 2
- Monday, April 27, 2020: Kindness - donate to an organization in need and/or share/post something nice about a friend
- Tuesday, April 28, 2020: Hobby Day -share a hobby you've picked up or one you’re excited to get back to
- Wednesday, April 29, 2020: Wellness Wednesday - post what you’re doing to stay healthy (mental and physical): workout routines, meditation, recipes, day in the life, etc...
- Thursday, April 30, 2020: School Spirit Day -show your Glenelg spirit by wearing the school colors and share your favorite memories from school
- Friday, May 1, 2020: Prom Day - show off your prom outfit/fanciest clothes
Each day is a different theme, so feel free to get creative and do your own thing with each prompt!
