Scheduling Information for School Year 2025 -2026

New and 9th Grade Student Scheduling Information Night

Learn more about course registration, electives, and programs at Glenelg High School during our Incoming 9th Grade and New Student information night Thursday, January 9, 2025. Both parents and students are welcome to attend this event to hear from our Instructional Team Leaders and teachers about classes and programs here at GHS. Families will rotate through a series of sessions that will provide content information. Rotations begin at 6:30 pm and are organized alphabetically (by first letter of the student’s last name).

Course Selection for Next School Year ( 2025 -2026)

On Wednesday December 18th, a course selection video was shared with students (CANVAS). This video discusses both graduation requirements and the course selection process. Beginning on December 16th, students and families will have the opportunity to select student courses for next school year. The course selection window opens on 12/16 and remains open until 1/14. Course selection is an important process as it not only determines what courses each individual student takes, but what courses ( by enrollment demand) will be run in each school. 2025-2026 High School Course Registration Open Dec. 16 through Jan. 14

Beginning Dec. 16, current 8-11th grade students and their parents/guardians may view teachers’ course recommendations and submit course requests and alternate requests by logging into HCPSS Connect Synergy, selecting Course Request from the left panel, and following the directions online.

Course requests and alternates should be submitted by Jan. 14, 2025.

Glenelg is hosting a Scheduling Information night on January 9th at 6:30pm. Each Curriculum Department will be present to assist you through this process.
