Student Parking Information/Meeting Dates 2019

All juniors and seniors who wish to park on school grounds must attend a Safe Driving Presentation prior to receiving a parking permit. Students must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian for the duration of the presentation. Once the presentation has started, late students & parents will not be admitted - No exceptions. Parent/guardian must be with the student during the entire presentation. The GHS meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 6:00 pm. Upcoming HCPSS Boundary Review Process

This past January, the Board of Education directed that HCPSS initiate a systemwide school boundary review, which could potentially impact any or all of the 74 comprehensive schools in our county beginning in the 2020-2021 school year. This review will begin on June 13 with the presentation of the 2019 Feasibility Study and is critical due to population growth that has resulted in crowding at many schools while schools in other areas are underutilized.

Walk for Wellness, June 14, 2019

Join us for the Walk for Wellness on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on the Glenelg High School Track. The proceeds benefit Grassroots. Please come out and support this great cause!

Thank you Glenelg High School Community! We did it! As a community, the Walk for Wellness raised over $2600 and counting for Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center! Go Gladiators!!

Student for Service

Intergenerational internship project for July of 2019 (Students for Service). It is designed to introduce youth, grades 10 through 12, to the helping services. They can earn up to 32 community service hours while working in an office environment or doing recreational activities. The deadline has been extended to May 31, 2018. Participating students will be assigned to a DCRS site for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week, and work for 2 weeks (8 Days Total). The project is scheduled to run from July 8, 2019, to July 19, 2019.

Car & Motorcycle Show!

Check out the Second Annual GHS Car & Motorcycle Show on Sunday, August 25th 9am - 2pm on the Glenelg High campus. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Register to show your car or motorcycle: Mr. Tim Graham at 410-313-5528. Car registrations are $15.00, $10.00 for tables.
