Student Services will hold a College Planning Night for Juniors and their parents on the evening of Thursday, March 14th, 2019 from 6 pm - 8 pm beginning in the cafeteria. A brief overview of the search and application process will be provided along with breakout sessions offering more in-depth information on different aspects of the college process.
Prom Tickets will be on sale during all lunch shifts for two weeks. Tickets are $60 per student. Any student wishing to bring an outside guest will need to complete a guest form before purchasing a ticket.
The Maryland General Assembly Page Program is a competitive program for high school seniors. Each high school submits one nominee to the County and then a select number are chosen. Justin Drewer was our nominee back in the fall and he was chosen as one of the Howard County pages in Annapolis.
Congratulations to all of the students and staff that helped with and performed in the GBC Performances on Wednesday and Friday. The Class of 2021 SGA is hosting the Glenelg Ballout! This is an after-school basketball tournament for all grades on March 20th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Glenelg High School. The event is designed to promote school spirit, provide a fun event for the community, and support the fundraising effort Prom 2020.
In April, we will be holding in-school immunization clinics for 11th and 12th graders ONLY, offering Tdap, Meningitis, MenB, and HPV vaccinations. These vaccines may be required or recommended for college entry or employment. The vaccines will be offered at no cost to you. There is no co-pay or deductible. However, we will bill your insurance company, if you have insurance.
