The Glenelg Boosters Club is sponsoring three SAT Prep Courses at Glenelg High this school year. These courses are designed to prepare students for the upcoming SAT tests. They will be taught by GHS staff. The math sessions cover expanded topics from college preparatory math. The verbal sessions will help increase reading comprehension and help prepare for the writing portion with emphasis on grammar and sentence structure, plus opportunities to practice the essay

On September 7, 2018, we had a student assembly. 11th and 12th graders reported to the auditorium during 3rd period, while 9th and 10-grade students reported to the auditorium during 6th period. During the assembly we went over:
The school will open front, side, and back doors for students at 7:00 AM. Parents are reminded that supervision for students cannot be provided prior to 7:00 AM. Students are not to be dropped off prior to 7:00 AM. Staff who arrive prior to 7:00 AM will use their security badges to gain entrance into the building. At 7:25 AM all outside doors will be locked. Both visitors and late students will use the front entrance where they will be buzzed into the building.
