Lincoln College of Technology Visiting Student Services, Naviance Super Match, Leadership U, New Scholarship Opportunities

Congratulations to Aaron Ortwein from Glenelg High School who has been selected to receive the Howard County Public Schools Superintendent’s Award at UMBC beginning with the Fall 2019 semester.

Leadership U is an exciting, unique, experiential leadership, teambuilding, and community service opportunity for current high school sophomores. This unique four-month program involves a week-long summer program of hands-on activities, as well as involvement in a team community service project. This program is for students with leadership potential, a desire to learn with others, and for those with an interest in the community.

Butch Schaffer, varsity head football coach of the Glenelg Gladiators, has been named the 2018 Ravens High School Coach of the Year.

The GHS Academic Life Skills program visited Central Office on December 19, 2018. Students got an up-close look at the staff at work and spent some time with the superintendent, Dr. Michael J. Martirano.
