Yearbook, 2020-2021

It's an unusual year, to say the least, and we'll have to have a non-traditional yearbook as a result. One of the biggest changes this year will be that the majority of our yearbook photos will not be taken by our yearbook staff photographers. Instead, we will need students and parents to submit photos to commemorate this bizarre and unique year of school. Over the next couple of months, we'll be sharing photo submission Google forms (with specific themes) with you in the hopes that you will submit photos to be included in this year's book.

We want to welcome you to the 20-21 New Student Virtual Orientation. This is not how we envisioned opening the school year, but we are going to make the best out of our new virtual world! We look forward to getting to know you personally throughout the school year.

Material Distribution, September 9, 2020

Jump Start Dual Enrollment

Is your student registered for a high school based course with a CC designation? The CC designation indicates that the course is eligible for the student to earn college credit through HCPSS’s partnership with Howard Community College in the JumpStart Dual Enrollment initiative. The deadline for students to register for college credit in a Fall CC course is September 11th, 2020. To register for college credit, please complete the following steps:

Family File Information

Regardless of virtual or in-person learning, parents/guardians must verify and/or update information for each child. Parents/guardians can complete Family File by logging in to HCPSS Connect. Did you forget your password? Do you need to change your primary email address on file?

Student Schedule from Semester One, 2020-2021

Here is a look into what your class schedule will be during the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year. This will help you understand what your school day will look like from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Below the schedule are the descriptions of what synchronous and asynchronous learning is. We hope this will better explain what our virtual learning will look like first semester.
