Refund Checks Sent

The first round of refunds are complete! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You all have been extremely patient under these circumstances. You should be receiving the checks by next weekend. They will be sent out next Thursday from the HCPSS mail room. Here is what you need to know about the check you receive, There is one refund check for each family. All refunds owed for each student and field trip is accounted for on the one check. Look at the top of the check stub. Each item being refunded is itemized with the name of the item, the student, and the dollar amount. The refund for the spring music trip is being reduced by $29.25 PER STUDENT. We have still not received one deposit made for this trip. Should we receive it at a later date, you will receive the $29.25 refund.

SGA Fundraiser, June 18 - 25, 2020

The Glenelg SGA has partnered with the Community Action Council of Howard County to put together a fundraiser for our Howard County neighbors, which will run from June 18 - 25, 2020! The donations from this fundraiser will go towards providing assistance for housing and electricity for those in need. Please take a minute or so of your time to donate to this great cause!

June 19 - 23, 2020 Schedules

As we approach the final week of school, we want to make the last few days interactive and fun! We are hoping all of our students will join us for the sessions we have planned, such as Summer Reading Recommendations, Kahoot Games, Building an Anti-Racist Culture discussion, CTE Clubs and Events, and MORE. We encourage you to select 2 sessions each day to attend, this will give you a chance to interact with your friends, classmates, and teachers, on June 19 and 22, 2020. On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, teachers will send you the google meet codes you will need to attend all of your classes for a fun end of the year celebration! We hope to see you all there!

Welcome New Gladiators (New and Redistricted Rising 10th-12th graders)!

We want to welcome you to the 20-21 Virtual Orientation. This is not how we envisioned first connecting with you, but we are going to make the best out of our new virtual world! We look forward to getting to know you personally throughout the school year. We understand coming into the building after 9th grade can be a hard transition. We want you to know that ALL 120 plus staff members are excited to meet you and are here to support you.

Athletic Department Awards for the Class of 2020

The Athletic Department Awards for the Class of 2020 award winners were nominated and voted on by our coaching staff. The Sportsmanship Award goes to the Student-Athlete(s) who, exhibited: Character, Sportsmanship, Scholarship, and Achievement and The Senior Athletes of the Year goes to the Student-Athlete(s) who, Contributed significantly to the team’s season and exhibited the following positive qualities: Leadership, Team work, Work ethic, Ambassadorship – good representative of the sport, and Sportsmanship.
